The purpose of this web site is to provide information to men who wear girdles or who would like to wear girdles. Except for the Girdles and More Forum, there is very little information available for men who want to wear girdles. With this site, I have attempted to fill some of that void. This site discusses girdle selection, proper fit, comfort and discomfort, problems, alterations, retail merchants, online merchants and more. This site was built on the premise that a girdle is a functional piece of underwear that should be comfortable all day; and we will discuss how that can be accomplished.
The information herein is technical in nature and we will not discuss the the social or erotic significance of the girdle, as this has been thoroughly documented at ZONA The Girdle Zone: http://www.girdlezone.org/. We will also not discuss cross dressing or transvestitism as this subject is well covered at a number of other web sites dedicated to that subject. Photos here are also technical in nature and offer nothing for sightseers.
The information on these pages was gathered from conversations with several corsetiers, various clothing and girdle sites on the Internet, many visitors to this site, my own experiences and experiments, and from the experiences of other men who have contributed their knowledge to the Girdles and More Forum: http://f16.parsimony.net/forum26094/index.htm. I am not a corsetier, and it is not my intention to be righteous or all-knowing on the subject of girdles. It is merely my intention to share what I have learned about girdle selection, sizing, comfort, and modifications.
It is paramount to understand that each and every one of us has a different body. If your body is considerably different than mine, some of the topics discussed here may not apply to you. But many of them will, and, regardless, you should find much of this information interesting and helpful. There is something here for every male girdle wearer no matter what size or shape he is.
Most of the photos at this site are thumbnail images. If you move your mouse pointer over an image, and it turns into a hand, click on the photo for a larger version. Also, some photos were borrowed from other girdle sites to demonstrate certain points. If any of these are copyrighted, I will immediately remove them upon notification by the owner.
This web site was built for a screen resolution of 1024 x 768. If you use a lower resolution, some of the images may seem too large and a very annoying horizontal scroll bar may appear. Please refer to your operating system's user's guide or help screens to make the desired changes.
History and Stats
This site was completed and opened with great apprehension in August,
2001. Since then, and to my complete surprise, I have had thousands of
visitors and continue to receive 1500 to 2500 new visitors per month.
I had no idea how many men are interested in wearing girdles, or are they
just curiosity seekers? Nevertheless, I've received nothing but positive
feedback from hundreds visitors explaining their girdle situation, preferences,
and problems. Those emails arrived at my inbasket from Australia, Austria,
Canada, The UK, France, Germany, Hungary, Norway, New Zealand, Spain,
Zimbabwe, and of course the USA. With these encouraging responses, I have
finally been convinced to make long needed updates and modifications.
The process will be lengthy so I cannot promise a completion date, but
at least it has begun.
