The AuthorOctober 25, 2004 Why? Early in 2000, I discovered the Girdles and More Forum and noticed that some of the questions posed by men were extremely repetitive. Many of them were requesting advice on how to wear a girdle, which models to buy, how to measure, etc. Other subscribers to the forum tried to answer these questions, but the subject is so complex, that many of the explanations were just too incomplete to give the reader all the advice he needed. This, then, started me thinking of a site for men, a site that covered the subject of Guys In Girdles in depth. Then if a gentleman asked a question about girdles for men, he could be referred to this site. In July of year 2000, I sent an email to The Virginian (author of ZONA The Girdle Zone) and asked if he would ever include information at his site for male girdle wearers. He said no he would not, but he complimented my enthusiasm and interest in the subject, and with that it became clear to me that, if this was to be done, then I was the one to do it. Since then, I have been researching, shopping, looking, testing, experimenting, and troubleshooting girdles for men. I also had to learn about web editors, web hosts, photo handling, and all about the sewing machine. I don't own hundreds of girdles as some collectors do, but I do have a bunch. And, for some models, I have 2 or 3 sizes just so I could experiment and see how they would work for men. Yes, this took a lot of money, and yes, it took a lot of time. But, this is my hobby; or is it my obsession. The results of my efforts are within these pages. The Author I have been a computer field engineer for 30+ years, installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and upgrading large systems and enterprise servers, hence my penchant for finding and fixing problems. This also accounts for my technical slant toward girdle wearing.
